Fees

I accept payment at the time of the session in cash, check or credit card.  Most insurance plans will cover the majority of the costs of psychotherapy.  At the time of the session, I will give you a completed claim form to send to your insurance company for reimbursement.  Reimbursement is usually within three weeks.  My fees are as follows:

    Initial intake session:                                    $135.00                 50 minutes

    Individual psychotherapy:                            $130.00                 50 minutes

    Couple or family counseling:                        $145.00                 50 minutes

                                                                      $200.00                 80 minutes

If you are not insured or intend to pay privately, I offer a discounted rate for eligible self-pay clients.  With the discounted rate, I accept my full fee for five sessions and the sixth session is at no charge.  This enables me to receive my full fee from those who just want to try things out, but give a break to those who want to establish a working relationship with me.  It also allows me to do pro bono work which is important to me as a psychologist.  Please discuss this option with me to determine if you are eligible.  Call 703-978-0471 or E-Mail Me.

 I have flexible payment plans for those who have insurance, but find it difficult to pay up front before they start receiving benefits from the insurance company.  Please see the "insurance" page for more information.
